aiinsider ·
Agility Robotics has advanced toward a public listing after the SEC declared effective its registration statement for a merger with Churchill Capital Corp XI. The transaction is scheduled for a shareholder vote on November 2, with an expected closing later that month if approved. This deal is projected to generate over $620 million in gross proceeds, comprising approximately $424 million from Churchill XI’s trust account and roughly $200 million from a Foxconn-led PIPE. Upon completion, Agility will trade on Nasdaq under the ticker AGLT as a pure-play humanoid robotics company. The company plans to utilize these funds to fulfill customer orders, expand commercial deployments, and increase production of its Digit 5 humanoid robot. Agility currently boasts more than $300 million in committed orders and aims to grow its customer base to about 100 by the end of 2027. Additionally, the firm highlights its manufacturing capacity at RoboFab in Oregon and safety partnerships with Nvidia and Fort Robotics.
