Agility Robotics Expects About $465M From SPAC Deal Ahead of Nov. 5 Nasdaq Debut
aiinsider ·
Agility Robotics anticipates raising approximately $465 million in gross capital through its merger with Churchill Capital Corp XI, ahead of its Nasdaq debut as AGLT on November 5. The funding total comprises roughly $164 million from the SPAC trust following redemptions, a $201 million private investment in public equity (PIPE) led by Foxconn, and $100 million in existing equity. This influx of capital is intended to support commercial expansion driven by growing customer demand for the company's Digit 5 humanoid robot. Agility reports over $300 million in committed multi-year orders for Digit 5, although the firm clarifies that this figure represents potential future value rather than current revenue. Early-access customers are expected to receive units in the first half of 2027, with general availability planned by year-end. Manufacturing partners such as GXO and AGCO are set to begin pilot programs and facility deployments in 2027. Additionally, executives noted that production costs will decrease significantly as annual output scales from 1,000 to 10,000 units.
