AI-driven development lifecycle using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore
aws ·
The article describes two reference implementations that demonstrate AI-driven development lifecycle patterns using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, Kiro, and coding tools. The first implementation automatically generates Mermaid entity relationship diagrams from SQL schemas via an event-driven serverless architecture involving S3, Lambda, and AgentCore runtime with memory. The second provides automated code security analysis using a multi-agent architecture that leverages AgentCore Gateway, MCP tools on Lambda, and memory strategies to scan code, check CVEs, and enforce policies. Both solutions focus on human-in-the-loop governance by producing artifacts and reports for review rather than fully autonomous decisions. The implementations share a modular foundation built on AgentCore, and complete deployment code is available in GitHub repositories. The post emphasizes practical design choices such as chunked processing, structured prompting, and observability to bridge the gap between conceptual frameworks and working code.
