NVIDIA has announced SimReady Central, an open library on Hugging Face containing over 2,000 simulation-ready 3D assets designed for robotics and AI factory digital twins. These OpenUSD assets are pre-configured with essential physical properties such as collision geometry, mass, friction, and thermal metadata to streamline development workflows. The initiative allows Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to validate and publish their equipment models, enabling developers to easily discover and integrate them into training environments. By leveraging the SimReady Foundation's specifications, users can compose complex scenes that support both robotic manipulation tasks and industrial layout simulations. Developers can utilize natural language search powered by NVIDIA USD Search and AI-assisted tools like GPT-6 Astra to rapidly assemble and test scenarios. This platform facilitates faster decision-making by allowing teams to evaluate robot behaviors and optimize facility designs before physical implementation. The library supports various use cases, from warehouse pick-and-place operations to detailed AI factory cooling and power distribution analyses.
