Antioch Raises $32M in Series A Funding for Physical AI Simulation Platform
aiinsider ·
Antioch announced it raised $32 million in Series A funding, led by Greylock, to expand its simulation platform for robotics and autonomous systems. Additional participants included A*, Category Ventures, Box Group, and Icehouse Ventures, along with angel investors such as Palantir CTO Shyam Sankar and Nvidia executive Ian Andrews. The company's platform calibrates high-fidelity simulations to customers' hardware and runs them at cloud scale, enabling physical AI teams to build, test, and validate systems before real-world deployment. Antioch noted that existing simulation platforms are often limited by fidelity and scale, while physical testing requires significant hardware and engineering resources. The funding will support product development, engineering hiring, and deeper simulation capabilities across areas like robotics, drones, and industrial automation. Antioch is already working with physical AI teams, including Amazon's Ring, and has partnerships with Nvidia and cloud provider Nebius. The company had previously raised $8.5 million in seed funding earlier this year.
