Augmeta Secures $3M Seed to Assign AI Operators to Every Business KPI
aiinsider ·
Augmeta has successfully closed a $3 million seed funding round led by Depth Ventures, with additional participation from Next Wave NYC and scouts from Index Ventures and Sequoia Capital. The startup is developing AI Operators designed to autonomously manage and improve individual business key performance indicators around the clock. These operators validate data, investigate anomalies, and build evidence-based cases for action while retaining context throughout the process. Co-founder and CEO Salman Jamali highlighted that many KPIs currently sit on dashboards without active daily management, leading to unresolved revenue leaks. Augmeta’s solution allows these AI agents to operate within defined guardrails, escalating decisions only when human judgment is required. A Fortune 500 retailer is already using the platform to monitor over 100 KPIs, integrating insights directly into business reviews. The newly raised capital will be utilized to simplify deployment processes, broaden KPI coverage, and expand the verification capabilities of the operators. The company was founded by Salman Jamali, Arslan Jamali, and Nitin Bhaskaran, who previously held leadership roles at major tech and retail firms.
