aiinsider ·
Axya, an AI-powered procurement platform designed for manufacturers, has secured $17 million CAD in Series A funding led by McRock Capital. The investment round also included participation from Yamaha Motor Ventures, BDC’s Industrial Innovation Venture Fund, and Real Ventures, alongside a new banking partnership with CIBC. The company specializes in serving the aerospace, defense, custom machinery, and natural resources sectors, working with major clients like MDA Space and GE Aerospace. Axya’s platform integrates deeply with existing ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle to automate data normalization, risk flagging, and savings identification while maintaining human oversight. Founder and CEO Félix Bélisle-Dockrill highlighted that procurement remains a fragmented function in manufacturing, which his platform aims to streamline through improved supplier collaboration and workflow automation. With the new capital, Axya plans to enhance its AI capabilities for risk detection and expand its sales and engineering teams across North America and internationally. The funding will also support broader ERP partnerships to accelerate enterprise adoption and improve supply chain resilience for complex manufacturers.
