Belgium’s Falcon AI Secures €1.5M Pre-Seed to Build an AI-Native Law Firm

Belgium-based Falcon AI has secured €1.5 million in pre-seed funding to develop an AI-native law firm called Falcon Law. This investment round was led by Syndicate One, with additional participation from Stelena Capital, Greenpark Investment Partners, RDY Ventures, and France’s Source Ventures. The startup aims to revolutionize legal service delivery by moving away from traditional billable hours toward a more efficient, automated model. Co-founders Quinten Vandermeulen, David Nguyen, and Amaury Gérard were inspired to create the platform after experiencing slow contract negotiations at their previous company, Mbrella. The system allows clients to upload contracts into Slack or Teams, where AI reviews them against specific playbooks and proposes redlines before a lawyer provides final approval. Former Allen & Overy partner Wim Dejonghe joined as an advisor, emphasizing the potential for AI to reshape how legal services are priced and delivered. With monthly plans starting at €1,000 and early customers like Loop Earplugs already onboard, Falcon targets €1 million in annual recurring revenue within its first year.
