Bleu Robotics Raises €5M in Funding to Speed Humanoid Robot Deployment in Factories
aiinsider ·
France-based startup Bleu Robotics has secured €5 million in pre-seed funding to accelerate the deployment of humanoid robots in industrial settings. The investment, co-led by Contrarian Ventures and OVNI Capital with participation from WEPA and other investors, will support the development of AI software designed to teach robots new factory tasks efficiently. This system allows robots to learn from as few as ten human demonstrations, significantly reducing the data and time required for training compared to traditional methods. By identifying task goals and constraints directly from operator actions, the software aims to complete full deployment processes in under one hour without coding. Bleu Robotics claims its technology achieves over 99% accuracy while using up to 100 times less data than alternative approaches. Early deployments are already underway with major automotive manufacturers and WEPA, a hygiene paper producer, although specific automotive partners remain unnamed. The company was founded by Benoît Berkoukchi, Jean-Baptiste Mouret, and Serena Ivaldi, combining industry experience from Renault with research expertise from INRIA.
