Bluesky expands its AI-powered Attie app to let anyone build websites, games, and more
techcrunch ·
Bluesky has expanded its experimental Attie platform to enable users to create websites, games, and interactive experiences using AI. Announced at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026, this update allows everyday creators to build social applications that previously required software development skills. These creations live on the AT Protocol, integrating them into the broader decentralized social web known as the Atmosphere. CEO Toni Schneider described the feature as "vibe coding for your community," aiming to facilitate collaborative building rather than solo usage. The tool connects to user identities and leverages Bluesky’s existing distribution network of 47 million registered users to solve visibility challenges. COO Rose Wang highlighted that this integration distinguishes Attie from standalone AI tools by providing immediate access to an audience. Additionally, Bluesky is preparing to roll out private data support by year-end to further enhance developer capabilities.
