Building on our commitment to American scientific discovery

Anthropic has announced a $150 million commitment over three years to support the Genesis Mission, a federal initiative aimed at accelerating scientific and technological discovery through artificial intelligence. This funding will provide access to Claude for more than 15 agencies involved in the mission, including NASA, the National Institutes of Health, and the National Science Foundation. The announcement was made during the Science: A New Golden Age Summit hosted by the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Anthropic aims to assist researchers working on complex problems by providing Claude, Claude Code, and API credits to several hundred research projects. The company will also partner closely with agencies on key priorities such as fusion energy and quantum computing. Additionally, Anthropic plans to offer training, onboarding, and technical support to help scientists integrate these tools into their workflows. This move builds upon previous partnerships with the US Department of Energy and recent initiatives like Claude Science and expanded AI for Science programs.
