Casap Closes $56M Series B to Scale AI Agents Across Financial Services
aiinsider ·
Casap, an AI agent platform designed for the financial services sector, has successfully closed a $56 million Series B funding round. The investment was led by Base10 Partners, with strategic participation from Experian and Synchrony, bringing the company's total funding to $90 million. This latest raise follows a tenfold revenue growth since its Series A just over a year ago. Casap’s technology utilizes specialized AI agents that investigate, decide, and act within existing institutional systems while maintaining auditable records. Initially focused on transaction disputes, the company is expanding into fraud detection, collections, and claims processing. Deployed at over 100 financial institutions, Casap reports significant efficiency gains, including reducing dispute resolution times from 90 days to eight. Additionally, the platform has achieved a 96% chargeback win rate and a 51% reduction in first-party fraud losses. This deal highlights a broader industry shift from assistive AI copilots toward autonomous agents capable of executing entire workflows.
