ChatGPT with GPT-6 ditches mostly text output for interactive UI with charts, buttons, and mini apps

OpenAI has launched GPT-6 for ChatGPT users, introducing a significant shift from traditional text-based responses to an interactive "Intelligent UI." This new interface dynamically adapts answers into graphics, charts, buttons, and mini-applications such as calculators or games. The rollout is available globally today for paying subscribers, including Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise tiers, while free and Go users will gain access one day later. In addition to the visual overhaul, GPT-6 features a streaming capability that allows it to respond while still processing thoughts, which OpenAI claims reduces wait times by 44 percent. Internal testing indicates that this method also yields superior results on complex web searches compared to previous models. Competitor Google previously introduced a similar feature called "Neural Expressive" with its Gemini chatbot in May. Paying customers receive the GPT-6 Sol model, whereas free users are assigned the GPT-6 Luna variant.
