China Physical AI Roundup: GenRobot AI, RoboScience Secure Funding, Plus Anyverse, Orbbec Expand Deals

Chinese robotics firms are securing significant investment and expanding commercial operations in the physical AI sector. GenRobot AI led the funding surge with a $100 million Series A+ round to support its robot training data platform, while RoboScience raised several hundred million yuan for its AI model development. Other companies like Elite Robots, Juqiao Industrial, Yicheng Innovation, and iSAGEBOT also secured financing to enhance their hardware and software capabilities. In commercial developments, Anyverse Dynamics partnered with JD.com to deploy robotic automation in over 1,000 coffee shops. Orbbec signed a major agreement to supply 10,000 vision units to Ace Robotics for data collection. Additionally, WeRide’s subsidiary Jingshuo raised funds for its world-model technology, and Pudu Robotics established a new European headquarters in Germany.
