China's physical AI sector is experiencing significant growth marked by new product launches, funding rounds, and commercial advancements. Unitree reported a 69.93% surge in third-quarter revenue to 665 million yuan, though net profit declined as R&D spending tripled to support embodied intelligence models. PIA Automation raised 1.025 billion yuan for intelligent robot projects, specifically focusing on its Jarvis humanoid system developed with partners like AgiBot. AgiBot itself launched the G2 Max heavy-duty wheeled robot, which is currently being validated in fast-moving consumer goods and e-commerce environments. In the autonomous driving space, XPeng received approval from Guangzhou for citywide Level 4 robotaxi demonstration operations, signaling a shift toward business model testing. Meanwhile, CASBOT secured undisclosed funding to expand mass production and overseas reach, citing strong order volumes in shoe-making robotics. MoSense also closed an angel-plus round to further develop whole-body multimodal tactile sensing technologies for robots. Finally, Xiaomi disclosed a highly dexterous 21-degree-of-freedom bionic hand designed for factory work, featuring extensive tactile sensing capabilities.
