China Startup Warpify Robotics Raises Pre-Series A Funding
aiinsider ·
Warpify Technology, a Shenzhen-based robotics company operating under the global brand Warpify Robotics, has raised an undisclosed amount in a pre-Series A funding round from Zhongguancun Zhongnuo Fund. This marks the company's first institutional financing. The funding will be used to expand into priority international markets, strengthen commercialization, and continue developing its software, operating tools, delivery systems, and lifecycle services. Warpify focuses on deploying robotic systems tailored to specific customer workflows rather than selling a fixed catalog of machines. Customers can acquire robots through direct purchase, leasing, or a Robotics-as-a-Service model, which may include deployment, monitoring, maintenance, repairs, and service management. Founder Rick Zhang stated that the company aims to absorb the complexity of selection, deployment, and operations to make robotic work repeatable across markets. The investor, Zhongguancun Zhongnuo Fund, is connected to Zhongguancun, a major technology and innovation ecosystem in China.
