Anthropic has introduced two new beta features for its AI assistant, Claude, enabling users to generate animated explainer videos and live data dashboards directly from text prompts. The Dashboards feature connects to major data sources such as BigQuery, Snowflake, and Salesforce to create auto-updating visualizations that display underlying queries and can integrate with tools like Grafana. Meanwhile, the Motion feature allows users to produce editable, code-based animated videos from text or images, which are exportable in MP4 format. While Dashboards is restricted to paid users, Motion is available for Team and Enterprise plans. Additionally, Anthropic announced that its Docs, Slides, and Design tools are moving out of beta and becoming accessible across all account tiers, including free ones. Despite generating over 45 million documents with these productivity tools, reports suggest Microsoft may be reducing its usage of Claude. Furthermore, the previously announced Claude Design tool will be integrated into the main application by December 14.
