Claude for Legal now verifies sources automatically, then hands the file to a lawyer

Anthropic has expanded its Claude Enterprise offering for legal professionals by introducing new interactive artifacts designed to streamline routine tasks. These features, requested since the platform's May launch, allow users to verify citations, compare international laws, manage case files, and check contracts against internal guidelines. The AI model automatically verifies sources and links statements to their original documents before a lawyer reviews the final output. Users can connect over 60 integrations from the legal directory, such as Bloomberg Law, without needing manual data uploads. Major law firms and providers like Goodwin, Harvey, Foley & Lardner, and PwC have also integrated their own tools onto the platform. Anthropic states that built-in settings enforce strict data protection rules and maintain necessary information barriers between teams. This update aims to reduce manual workload while ensuring accuracy through human oversight of AI-generated results.
