Confido Secures $55M Series B to Take AI-Powered Automation Across the Entire Consumer Brand Back Office
aiinsider ·
Confido has secured a $55 million Series B funding round led by Insight Partners to expand its AI-powered automation platform for consumer packaged goods brands. The investment includes participation from Trenches Capital, Watchfire, Barrel Ventures, and returning backers Footwork and Y Combinator, bringing the company's total funding to $77 million. Founded in 2022 by former athletes Justin Hunter and Kara Holinski, Confido unifies finance, accounting, sales, and operations into a single system to help brands protect margins. The platform currently serves over 250 major clients, including Unilever and Kettle & Fire, managing more than $30 billion in retail sales planning. Since its Series A, the company has experienced fivefold year-over-year growth and a corresponding increase in valuation. Confido plans to utilize the new capital to accelerate product development, enter the food service sector, and expand its engineering and go-to-market teams. This move addresses the industry-wide challenge of disconnected software systems that often hinder profitability and operational efficiency in the CPG sector.
