Corbotics and Us2.ai Partner to Combine AI and Robotics for Automated Cardiac Ultrasound Tech

Corbotics and Us2.ai announced a strategic partnership to integrate autonomous robotic cardiac ultrasound acquisition with AI-driven analysis and reporting. The companies signed a distribution agreement covering the U.S., E.U., and U.K., aiming to create an integrated echocardiography workflow. Corbotics is developing its Bed Based Echo (BBE) autonomous ultrasound system, while Us2.ai provides regulatory-cleared software that automatically generates cardiac measurements and structured, editable reports. Corbotics noted that its BBE system received FDA Breakthrough Device Designation in June 2026. The partnership targets growing demand for echocardiography and shortages of trained sonographers. A Us2.ai executive said the goal is not to replace sonographers or cardiologists but to extend their reach and improve patient access to high-quality imaging. Corbotics' CEO added that expanding automation from acquisition to analysis will reduce pressure on the sonographer workforce.
