Diald Releases Redesigned Platform With AI-Driven Neighborhood Investment Rating
aiinsider ·
Diald, an AI-powered real estate due diligence and underwriting platform, has launched a redesigned interface that surfaces insights from qualitative data such as zoning changes, permit activity, and neighborhood sentiment. The release introduces a Neighborhood Investment Rating that evaluates whether market optimism or pessimism about an area is supported by underlying data. The company also announced $1 million in follow-on funding led by Feedback Ventures, bringing its total funding to $4.75 million. Founder and CEO Steven Song said the redesign targets family offices and independent operators, who control over half of commercial real estate value but often rely on generic spreadsheet tools. The platform automates the collection of scattered zoning, permit, and market data, and offers professional-grade underwriting through plain-English conversation. It also includes a Confidence Score that assesses how well market evidence supports cap rate assumptions, and a conversational underwriting feature that builds a full pro forma from live market data. Diald's engine scans over 1.7 million data sources and has analyzed more than $210 billion in commercial real estate volume. Feedback Ventures partner Ethan Cheng said his firm believes Diald's approach to AI in real estate will prove groundbreaking.
