ElevenLabs Doubles Valuation to $22B Through $300M Employee Tender Offer
aiinsider ·
ElevenLabs has announced a $300 million tender offer that allows employees to sell vested equity at a new company valuation of $22 billion. This figure represents a doubling of the startup's previous $11 billion valuation, which was established in February during a $500 million funding round. The secondary transaction was co-led by major institutional investors Wellington and T. Rowe Price, who intend to hold their shares following an eventual IPO. This event marks the second time ElevenLabs has authorized staff liquidity events, following a $100 million tender in September 2025 at a lower $6.6 billion valuation. The move highlights a growing trend among fast-growing AI startups using employee liquidity as a strategy to retain talent against competitors. Founded in 2022, ElevenLabs is known for creating ultra-realistic voice generation technology and sound effects. With offices in New York and London, the company now ranks among Europe’s most valuable startups based on this latest assessment.
