This investment round was led by Catalio Capital Management with participation from Iconiq and other investors, effectively doubling the company's valuation from twelve months prior. Founded in 2019 by Viswa Colluru, Enveda leverages artificial intelligence to identify potent medicines derived from plants and microbes rather than synthesizing them artificially. The newly raised capital will facilitate the advancement of several AI-discovered drug candidates into clinical trials. Currently, the company is testing treatments for severe skin conditions and therapies designed to help patients maintain weight loss after discontinuing GLP-1 medications.
