Ex-Google Applied AI Expert Launches Guickly with $4.2M in Seed Funding to Give Enterprises Control of AI Investments
aiinsider ·
Guickly, an enterprise AI measurement platform founded by ex-Google Applied AI Lead Prashant Jalan, has launched with $4.2 million in seed funding led by Engineering Capital. The company aims to provide enterprises with complete visibility into AI spending, usage, and return on investment, addressing the fact that only 39% of organizations can attribute bottom-line impact to AI, according to McKinsey. Guickly tracks every AI tool, agent, and dollar spent, exposing shadow AI usage, setting per-employee and per-tool budgets, and flagging waste like unused licenses. Unlike other solutions, it keeps sensitive data such as prompts and source code on-premises, making it suitable for regulated industries like finance and pharmaceuticals. Additional backing comes from Converge VC, Neon Fund, and angel investors. Jalan drew on his experience at Google, where he built a profiler to optimize TPU performance, to develop the platform.
