Extending public sector intelligence with Agentforce and AWS
aws ·
This article outlines a technical architecture that integrates Amazon Bedrock Data Automation with Salesforce Agentforce to process unstructured public sector evidence. By leveraging the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the system transforms raw media files stored in Amazon S3 into structured, actionable insights. When evidence is uploaded, an event-driven AWS Lambda function triggers Bedrock Data Automation to extract text, transcriptions, and summaries based on the file type. These processed results are then exposed to Salesforce users via an MCP server running on AWS Lambda. Agents can query this data through natural language within the Salesforce console, eliminating the need for manual review or system switching. The solution emphasizes modularity, allowing agencies to adapt the pattern for various workflows such as permit processing or compliance reviews. Security considerations include implementing Amazon Bedrock Guardrails to mitigate risks like indirect prompt injection and ensuring least-privilege access.
