Fort Robotics Secures $20M in New Funding Ahead of Planned Public Listing
aiinsider ·
Fort Robotics has secured approximately $20 million in additional funding commitments from existing investors as it prepares for a planned public listing. The financing is led by Tiger Global, which is contributing about $10 million, with participation from Mark Cuban Companies. Tiger Global also committed an additional $10 million to the common-equity PIPE associated with the transaction, bringing total pledged capital to over $50 million. This move supports Fort Robotics' merger with Newbury Street II Acquisition Corp., which aims to create Fort Robotics Holdings. If approved, the new entity will trade on Nasdaq under the ticker FROB, marking it as the first publicly traded company focused on physical AI safety infrastructure. The Philadelphia-based firm develops trust layer technology deployed across more than 19,500 units for over 600 customers, including major tech and logistics companies. The newly raised capital will be used to expand the team and operating capacity in sectors such as warehousing, defense, and construction.
