Gatik, a California-based autonomous trucking company, raised $200 million in Series D financing. The round was led by the Qatar Investment Authority and Koch Disruptive Technologies, with participation from Millennium Management, ARK Invest, Intact Private Capital, and other investors. Intact Private Capital tripled its previous investment in the company. Gatik plans to use the funds to expand its high-frequency regional freight network, which uses AI-driven trucks on highways and local roads to move goods between distribution centers and stores. The company said demand is growing among large retail, grocery, and consumer packaged-goods firms, and it expects to add vehicles and expand operations for those customers. Gatik reported having more than $600 million in contracted revenue, 85,000 fully driverless orders completed, and a 99% on-time delivery rate.
