Gatik, an autonomous trucking company, has raised $200 million in Series D funding to expand its driverless freight operations in North America. The round was led by Qatar Investment Authority and Koch Disruptive Technologies, with participation from Millennium Management, ARK Invest, and Intact Private Capital. Gatik reports over $600 million in contracted revenue, 85,000 completed fully driverless orders, and a 99% on-time delivery rate. Its trucks currently operate in Texas, Arizona, Arkansas, and Canada, and the company plans to scale its fleet from dozens to thousands, aiming for more than 100 driverless trucks by the end of 2026. The company's proprietary AI system, Gatik Driver, supports middle-mile logistics on both fixed and dynamic routes, and it has expanded partnerships with PepsiCo and Loblaw. Gatik also uses its Arena simulation platform with Nvidia Cosmos for synthetic training data and Nvidia DRIVE AGX for onboard processing, while collaborating with Isuzu on a redundant chassis for Level 4 autonomous vehicles targeted for mass production from 2027.
