Generate presentations with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore

This article details the development of an AI agent system using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore to automate the creation of client PowerPoint presentations. The solution addresses the time-consuming manual process of extracting data from quarterly reports and compliance documents by deploying a supervisor agent that orchestrates specialized tools for document generation and summarization. Key technologies include Anthropic Claude Sonnet 4.6 for content creation, Amazon Titan Text Embeddings v2 for vector search, and Stability AI Stable Image Inpaint for generating slide visuals. A Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipeline utilizes Amazon OpenSearch Serverless to ensure generated content is grounded in enterprise source data, thereby reducing hallucinations. Internal testing demonstrated that the system can generate a six-slide presentation with images and text in approximately 70 to 90 seconds. The architecture incorporates robust security measures such as Amazon VPC isolation, AWS KMS encryption, and Amazon Bedrock Guardrails for content safety. Additionally, the implementation includes a .NET 8 REST API and serverless Lambda functions to facilitate integration with existing enterprise applications.
