Go.AI™ Secures $85M Series A to Accelerate On-Prem AI Infrastructure for Regulated Industries
aiinsider ·
Go.AI, formerly known as Go Abacus, has secured $85 million in Series A funding led by Updata Partners to accelerate its on-premises AI infrastructure for regulated industries. This investment brings the company's total funding to $90 million and follows its recent rebranding and the launch of The Go1 hardware and software solution. The startup now serves over 200 customers across sectors such as financial services, healthcare, aerospace, defense, and manufacturing. Financial metrics indicate strong growth, with annual recurring revenue increasing more than eightfold year-over-year while maintaining profitability. Daily operations involve processing over 12.5 million queries within secure, private environments that prevent data from leaving the customer's premises. The new capital will be used to expand the engineering team, enhance the Go.OS software platform, and scale go-to-market efforts beyond strictly regulated sectors. Additionally, the company plans to invest in client education and marketing initiatives to demystify AI adoption and counter fear-based narratives. Co-founders David Moscatelli and Lisa Gillespie emphasize their commitment to building AI systems that work alongside human users rather than replacing them.
