Google Photos ‘Clueless’-inspired virtual closet is now available on Android and iOS

Google has fully rolled out its new AI-powered virtual closet feature for Google Photos, making it available to users in the U.S., Brazil, and India on both Android and iOS devices. Inspired by the digital wardrobe system from the movie 'Clueless,' the tool allows users to digitize their outfits by scanning photos of items they have worn. The application enables users to categorize clothing into sections such as tops, bottoms, and jewelry, facilitating easy mixing and matching of different looks. Google emphasizes that this data remains private and is not shared with third-party retailers or other external entities. This release follows an initial limited launch for Android users earlier in the year, expanding access to a broader global audience. Alongside the virtual closet, Google Photos introduced several other updates, including enhanced editing tools via Gemini Spark and new photo filters called 'Moods' for Android. These additional features provide users with improved capabilities for brightening images, redacting sensitive information, and applying stylistic effects.
