Gudea Pitches AI “Storm Tracker” for Online Narratives at TechCrunch Disrupt Following $7M Seed Round
aiinsider ·
Gudea, an artificial intelligence startup focused on tracking online narratives, presented its 'Storm Tracker' platform at the Startup Battlefield stage during TechCrunch Disrupt 2026. This pitch followed the company's recent closure of a $7 million seed funding round, which was co-led by Mudita Venture Partners and Silicon Road Ventures. The new investment brings Gudea’s total capital raised to approximately $15 million since its founding in 2023. Unlike traditional social listening tools that merely count mentions, Gudea’s AI analyzes behavioral patterns and information pathways across over 500 platforms to identify key drivers of conversations. CEO Keith Presley noted that generative AI has significantly increased inauthentic activity, with such behavior now appearing in roughly nine out of ten cases examined, compared to one in four previously. The company currently serves nearly 40 clients, including a Fortune 50 telecommunications firm and a major global AI laboratory. Looking ahead, Gudea plans to introduce narrative geolocation capabilities down to the city-block level and offer pre-release campaign testing through its AI model.
