At GTC Berlin, NVIDIA announced collaborations with leading healthcare and life sciences organizations to advance drug discovery and improve patient care. A key highlight is the debut of RFD4-Proteina, an open model developed with the UW Medicine Institute for Protein Design that combines programmable protein design with search capabilities to accelerate biological research. Siemens Healthineers is partnering with NVIDIA to enhance adaptive radiotherapy using agentic co-planning and robotic intelligence, aiming to provide more precise cancer treatments by 2050. Several companies, including Automata, Benchling, and Boltz, are utilizing the NVIDIA BioNeMo platform to develop scientific agents that connect drug design with autonomous laboratory workflows. These innovations help researchers move faster from hypothesis to experimentation by integrating AI-driven biology with physical computing. Additionally, European healthcare systems are leveraging NVIDIA Nemotron models to streamline hospital operations and expand access to specialized care through AI scribes and digital twins. Kimberly Powell, NVIDIA’s vice president of healthcare, emphasized that agentic and physical AI are opening new possibilities for personalized medicine and global scientific discovery.
