How to Claim Your Cut of Apple’s $250 Million Siri Settlement
wired ·
Apple has agreed to a $250 million settlement regarding allegations that it overhyped Siri AI features, specifically the delayed Apple Intelligence overhaul. Eligible US customers who purchased specific iPhone 15 or iPhone 16 models between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025, may receive up to $95 per device. The claim process requires users to visit smartphoneaisettlement.com and provide their iPhone serial number or Apple Account ID. Applicants must sign a statement acknowledging they expected but did not receive the promised Siri features, although Apple denies any wrongdoing in the resolution. Claimants can choose to receive their funds via PayPal, Venmo, electronic bank transfer, or a paper check. Those with multiple eligible devices must submit separate forms for each phone. The deadline to file a claim is December 21.
