Indurex Raises €7M to Bring Engineering Intelligence to Critical Infrastructure and Industrial Operations
aiinsider ·
Indurex, a Netherlands-based company specializing in AI for cyber-physical systems security, has successfully raised €7 million to expand its operations. The funding round includes investments from Contrarian Ventures, Curiosity, and Axeleo Capital, following the company's recognition as a Gartner Cool Vendor earlier this year. Indurex’s platform, SafeGuard AI, unifies engineering, safety, and cybersecurity data using AI agents to detect anomalies in critical infrastructure sectors such as oil and gas, energy, and manufacturing. Founder and CEO Jalal Bouhdada stated that the capital will support research and development, as well as commercial growth in Europe and the Middle East, with future plans to enter the US and Asia-Pacific markets. The company addresses the gap in traditional OT security by correlating operational and security telemetry to provide context-aware insights. This approach aims to enhance operational excellence, cyber resilience, and compliance with international standards like IEC 62443 and NIS2. By treating safety, cybersecurity, and operations as interdependent disciplines, Indurex seeks to prevent physical disruptions caused by cyber incidents.
