aiinsider ·
Infisical, a cybersecurity infrastructure company specializing in securing credentials for AI agents, has raised $40 million in Series B funding at a $600 million valuation. The round was led by Elad Gil, with participation from Gradient and Y Combinator. The company’s core product, Agent Vault, allows organizations to grant AI agents access to critical systems without exposing sensitive data like API keys or passwords. Infisical currently serves over 1,300 customers and 300,000 developers, including major enterprises such as Airbus, Volkswagen, and Hugging Face. CEO Vlad Matsiiako emphasizes that AI agents should not have unrestricted access to company systems, mirroring security protocols for human employees. The newly acquired capital will be used to accelerate product development, expand engineering teams, and enhance security infrastructure for the growing number of AI agents in enterprise environments. This investment highlights the increasing importance of securing the emerging AI agent economy against novel cyber threats.
