Inspiren Raises $70M Series C to Scale Physical AI for Senior Living
aiinsider ·
Inspiren, an AI-powered senior living platform, has raised $70 million in Series C funding at a valuation exceeding $500 million, led by NewView Capital with participation from Insight Partners, Primary Venture Partners, Scale Venture Partners, Vintage Investment Partners, Lightbank, Avenir Growth Capital, Story Ventures and Camber Creek. The round brings Inspiren's total funding to $225 million, which the company says is the most capital raised and highest valuation to date for a technology company built specifically for senior living. Inspiren combines AI-powered ambient awareness with longitudinal resident and community data to help care teams act on emergencies as they happen and on subtle changes that precede them. Founded in 2016 by Michael Wang, a former Green Beret and cardiothoracic nurse, the company is led by CEO Alex Hejnosz. Communities using the platform report improved outcomes, including a 48% reduction in falls, 54% fewer hospitalizations and 50% faster staff response times in a 10-month study at Solera Senior Living's Lumina Las Vegas, while Aegis Living reported residents staying 34% longer with lower fall and injury rates. Inspiren powers care across communities served by more than 80% of the largest senior housing investors, including AEW and Sabra Healthcare REIT. The company recently launched Two-Way Voice and Alert Claiming across its eCall solution and plans to use the funding to scale go-to-market efforts, advance its hardware ecosystem and deepen its AI platform.
