Island, an enterprise agentic control plane provider, has secured a $400 million Series F funding round led by Evolution Equity Partners. This investment raises the company's valuation to $6.4 billion, more than doubling its worth since 2024. The capital will support Island's expansion as enterprises scale AI agents and modernize their work architectures. CEO Mike Fey emphasized that AI agents require the same context, guardrails, and accountability as human workers to succeed safely. Existing investors such as Sequoia Capital, Coatue Management, and Insight Partners participated in the round alongside new backers. Since its 2022 launch, Island has doubled its annual recurring revenue every fiscal year with a workforce of 1,000 employees. The platform unifies policy enforcement across browsers, endpoints, networks, and data to govern both human and AI activities. Industry recognition includes spots on the CNBC Disruptor 50 list and awards from Frost & Sullivan and Gartner.
