Jaipur Robotics Raises €4.3M in Seed Funding to Expand AI Platform for Waste-to-Energy Plants
aiinsider ·
Jaipur Robotics, a Swiss startup, raised €4.3 million in seed funding led by EquityPitcher Ventures and High-Tech Gründerfonds. The company develops an AI and automation platform for waste-to-energy plants using computer vision to analyze waste streams and plant operations. Its system processes over 5 million tons of waste annually and relies on a European dataset of more than 50 million labeled images, detecting hazardous materials with 99% accuracy. Reported benefits include more than 80% fewer unplanned shutdowns and over €1 million in added value from improved waste mixing and calorific-value mapping. The funding will support expansion into new regions and broader product capabilities, particularly for hazard detection, waste mixing, and crane automation. The company notes that over 3,100 waste-to-energy plants operate worldwide in a market worth about €40 billion, many still relying on manual monitoring. Jaipur Robotics is also hiring for AI, engineering, and commercial roles.
