Jensen Huang explains why Nvidia will grow an astounding 70% next year
techcrunch ·
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang projected that the company’s revenue will grow by 70% year-over-year next year, a forecast he reiterated at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology conference. He emphasized that Nvidia is far more than just a chip manufacturer, describing its current products as complex systems involving millions of parts and massive power requirements. Huang highlighted that orders for their integrated computer systems are experiencing significant month-to-month sales growth. To justify his confidence, he stated that Nvidia serves as a foundational platform for every major AI lab, including Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google. The CEO also noted that the company tracks global data center infrastructure developments closely, maintaining relationships with numerous partners across the industry. When questioned about potential circular deals where investments lead to purchases from Nvidia, Huang dismissed the concern by pointing to substantial returns on investment. He assured attendees that any companies receiving Nvidia’s capital must already have verified customer contracts generating real revenue. Despite acknowledging future competition from hyperscalers and startups, Huang remains optimistic about Nvidia’s continued dominance in the AI ecosystem.
