aiinsider ·
Loops, an enterprise AI company specializing in agentic commerce systems, has secured a $3.5 million seed funding round led by a16z Speedrun alongside investors NTT Docomo, Connecticut Innovations, Alumni Ventures, and Monday Capital. The startup aims to build a unified AI operating system for commerce that integrates search, shopping assistance, product enrichment, and virtual try-on into a single continuous journey rather than disparate tools. Co-founded by Ari Nazir and İlker Selim Zorluoğlu, Loops currently serves over 70 customers and pilots, with a notable 64% conversion rate from pilot programs to paying clients. Early results from retailer A101 indicate that sessions utilizing the platform achieved approximately 83% higher observed purchase conversion compared to control segments. The company plans to use the new capital to accelerate product development, expand customer deployment capabilities, and pursue international growth. Beyond its current focus on retail, Loops intends to extend its vertical AI operating system model into the financial services and energy sectors. This strategy emphasizes building deep, industry-specific workflows rather than relying on general-purpose models with superficial integrations.
