TechCrunch reports that Mark Wahlberg will appear at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 for a main-stage fireside chat with Bruce K. Lee, founder and CEO of Keebeck Wealth Management. Although Wahlberg is known for an acclaimed Hollywood career that began with 1997’s “Boogie Nights,” earned two Academy Award nominations, a Golden Globe nod for “The Fighter,” and Emmy nominations as a producer, he will discuss his business evolution rather than his film work. He currently stars in “By Any Means,” a manhunt thriller set during the 1966 Mississippi civil rights killings. Over two decades, Wahlberg has created a production company, a restaurant chain, apparel and fitness ventures, angel investments, and the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation, now 25 years old and focused on inner-city kids and teens. At Disrupt, he and Lee will discuss how he has developed institutional-level investing discipline, including a growing interest in healthcare and wellness startups, and how he has used his entertainment career to gain access and deal flow. The session is also expected to cover mistakes, mentorship, how to level up in investing, what entertainers and athletes sometimes get wrong, and the technologies he is most focused on. Disrupt 2026 will take place October 13–15 at San Francisco’s Moscone West with more than 10,000 tech leaders, 250+ speakers, and 200+ sessions, and ticket prices rise on September 25.
