Maxinsights Raises $30M Seed Round and Launches Physical AI Data Tools
aiinsider ·
Maxinsights has successfully raised $30 million in a seed funding round led by Peak XV, with additional participation from Tola Capital and South Park Commons. The company simultaneously launched two new products, MaxLoop and MaxGlove, designed to enhance the collection and processing of real-world training data for physical AI systems. Maxinsights claims to have captured over 2 million hours of footage through more than 5,000 contractors across six countries, providing 1.5 million model-ready hours to clients. MaxLoop automates quality control by scoring footage as it arrives, significantly reducing review costs and time compared to previous methods. MaxGlove, developed in partnership with Genesis AI, captures essential touch and force data that video alone cannot provide, aiming for 1 million hours of such data by 2027. The startup serves over 30 customers, including being the largest data provider for Dyna Robotics’ model and supplying all egocentric data for Genesis AI’s GENE-26.5 model. Founded by Yuguang Yuan and Kun Wang, the Santa Clara-based company focuses on managing messy real-world data to help robots navigate unexpected environments.
