Meta has introduced the Muse Charm, a palm-sized wearable device designed to provide physical access to its popular Muse AI agent. Revealed by CEO Mark Zuckerberg at the company's Connect event, the gadget features a small screen displaying a digital avatar named Jolly and operates with a Tamagotchi-like aesthetic. Users can interact with the device via voice commands by tapping a fingerprint sensor, eliminating the need to unlock a phone or open an application. The hardware is scheduled for release in December to coincide with the holiday season, allowing consumers to carry their AI assistant on a keychain or in a pocket. This launch represents Meta's effort to distribute its AI software through diverse channels while experimenting with low-stakes wearable technology. The device aims to offer a fast and always-available interface for users who do not wear smart glasses.
