Meta Superintelligence Lab Releases Muse Wonder Models in First Push Into Frontier AI
aiinsider ·
Meta’s Superintelligence Lab has officially released its first frontier AI models, named Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full. These new models represent a significant advancement from the previously available lightweight Muse Spark variant. According to Meta, the Wonder models achieve higher benchmark scores and demonstrate strong performance in complex tasks like coding. Their capabilities are described as comparable to competitors such as Fable 5.1 and GPT-6 Astra. A key feature highlighted by Meta is 'active memory,' which allows the system to retain and synthesize user information over extended periods. The models were trained at Meta's Prometheus data center in Ohio following a restructuring of AI efforts led by Alexandr Wang. Pricing for the API access is set at $4 per million input tokens and $20 per million output tokens. While Wonder is available via API, the larger Wonder Full version is reserved exclusively for Muse Code subscribers.
