Natura’s $99 smart ring puts AI agents on your finger
techcrunch ·
Natura, an AI and hardware startup founded by Carlo Edoardo Ferraris, has introduced Interface, a $99 smart ring designed to serve as a primary interface for AI agents. The device allows users to interact with various AI services, such as Meta’s Muse, Claude, and ChatGPT, through simple finger presses without needing to reach for a smartphone. In addition to its AI capabilities, the ring functions as a health tracker, monitoring metrics including heart rate, HRV, sleep stages, and skin temperature. Ferraris aims to help users reduce screen time by enabling hands-free task completion, from scheduling meetings to reordering household items. The product will initially connect with multiple AI apps, allowing users to specify which agent handles specific requests. While the launch price is set at $99 to encourage adoption, Natura plans to introduce a $9 monthly subscription fee after an initial free period. Pre-orders are expected to open next month, with shipping scheduled for December or January.
