Nous Research Secures $90M Series B at $1.5B Valuation to Bring Hermes AI Agents to Enterprises

Nous Research has secured a $90 million Series B funding round, establishing a company valuation of $1.5 billion. The investment was led by Robot Ventures and included participation from major investors such as Nvidia, Union Square Ventures, Menlo Ventures, Samsung, and 1789 Capital. This latest financing brings the three-year-old startup's total capital raised to $158 million. The funds will primarily support the expansion of Hermes for Businesses, an enterprise offering designed to deploy customized AI agents while ensuring data privacy and security. Hermes Agent has already achieved significant traction, with over 24 million clones and approximately 2.5% of global AI token usage. Commercial momentum is also strong, with the Wall Street Journal reporting that annualized revenue reached $36 million in mid-September 2026. Nous Research expects to surpass $100 million in annualized revenue before the end of the year.
