NVIDIA and CrowdStrike Strengthen Agentic Cybersecurity Frontier
nvidia ·
At CrowdStrike's Fal.Con 2026, NVIDIA and CrowdStrike announced CrowdStrike SafeMind, an agentic cybersecurity system built with NVIDIA Nemotron open models. SafeMind combines CrowdStrike's purpose-built models and harnesses with defensive models post-trained on CrowdStrike's threat data, operating in a continuous coevolution loop where offensive and defensive AI challenge and improve each other. According to internal evaluations, the Blue Solano model based on Nemotron 3 Super delivered higher accuracy than leading frontier models at 99% lower cost. NVIDIA founder Jensen Huang and CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz emphasized that automated attacks require automated defense, citing an 89% rise in AI-enabled attacks and a record 27-second eCrime breakout time. NVIDIA also tested SafeMind in a digital twin of its own network, running red-team and blue-team agents to generate and close exploits. CrowdStrike additionally introduced Falcon IQ, powered in part by Nemotron models, which uses over 50 agents to automate threat assessment, prioritization, and remediation workflows.
