NVIDIA and Palantir Bring Sovereign Intelligence to Critical Supply Chains
nvidia ·
NVIDIA and Palantir announced a collaboration to bring sovereign AI to critical supply chains, beginning with NVIDIA's own operations. The deployment creates an AI stack that integrates NVIDIA Nemotron open models into Palantir Foundry and its Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP), grounded in the Palantir Ontology, aiming to deliver supply chain visibility, identify constraints, codify operational expertise and guide decisions at machine speed while keeping control and ownership of proprietary data. NVIDIA operates a highly complex supply chain with millions of parts, thousands of suppliers and a global network of manufacturing partners, and each NVIDIA Vera Rubin rack contains 1.3 million parts. Palantir customers can build their own supply chain AI stack by post-training NVIDIA Nemotron with their own data using Foundry and AIP, with NVIDIA cuOpt software enabling optimization and scenario planning within AIP, while supply chain experts retain final decision control. The approach is designed for sovereign, enterprise-scale deployment, running on NVIDIA reference architectures and the jointly developed Palantir Sovereign AI Operating System Reference Architecture (SAIOS), supported by Dell Technologies and Cisco, and deployable on premises, in co-location or in the cloud with Rackspace and Nebius. Palantir CEO Alex Karp and NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang both commented on the partnership, with Huang describing supply chains as the operating system of the physical economy and framing the effort as transforming a vast operational graph into sovereign intelligence from wafer to token. The companies plan to extend learnings from NVIDIA's deployment to industries including manufacturing, energy, healthcare, automotive, aerospace, agriculture, pharmaceutical, retail, technology and governments, and the stack will be showcased at Palantir's AIPCon 11 conference.
