At the IBC 2026 conference in Amsterdam, NVIDIA announced an expansion of its NVIDIA AI for Media suite, featuring GPU-accelerated SDKs and NIM microservices for live broadcast, sports, and streaming workflows. The company highlighted its Synthetic Video Detector, which now achieves 99.3% accuracy for text-to-video and 97.7% for image-to-video content, and is being integrated by partners like Dalet, TwelveLabs, and Wowza for authenticity verification. NVIDIA also showcased 3D Body Pose technology for motion tracking in sports and virtual studios, along with Video Frame Generation, Video Super Resolution, and TrueHDR to improve video smoothness, quality, and dynamic range. New LipSync and Active Speaker Detection microservices support real-time translation and dubbing, with NDI using them to enable multilingual broadcast workflows. Additionally, NVIDIA introduced Holoscan for Media with an open Media Exchange Layer to help software-defined live media applications connect and run on shared accelerated infrastructure. Finally, NVIDIA presented Sports Intelligence Playbooks, which provide frameworks for leagues and media companies to fine-tune open models on proprietary sports data, with early tests showing accuracy improvements from roughly 53% to 94% on multiple-choice evaluations.
